Cnc Lathe Operator

Job duties :

  • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to produce parts that meet specifications
  • Utilize SolidWorks and other CAD software for programming and design modifications
  • Conduct regular inspections of finished products using precision measuring tools
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during the machining process, including basic logic controllers and Fanuc systems
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team for effective packaging and handling of finished products
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations

Desired skills / experience :

  • Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, CAD software, and SolidWorks is preferred
  • Strong understanding of CNC machinery, including Fanuc controls
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
