About the Role

By joining the Customer Development team youll have the opportunity to empower those who strive to achieve financial success. You will be a guide to our potential members as they start their loan application this role youll provide best-in-class customer experiences through three simple principles : Build a Relationship Make It Easy and Think Ahead.

What Youll Do

Take 150-200 outbound contact attempts per day

Guide potential members through the application process while providing an empathetic and professional customer experience

Listen and seek to understand the potential members goals / needs and tailor specific solutions using LendingClub products

Expect and embrace the need to overcome objections as you walk through the application process with potential members

Simplify complex processes and financial concepts to make it easy for our potential members to understand

Adapt to new situations by thinking critically and paying attention to detail

Spend time discussing different fina ncial products / services while positioning LendingClubs value

Start Date : January 20 2026

Pay : Compensation includes a base hourly rate plus monthly performance pay structure

$19 / hr monthly discretionary performance-based bonuses. Avg annual earnings $

Hours : Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM NO WEEKENDS

Flexibility with work from home and hybrid options.

About You

You have 1 year of call center experi ence

• AND / OR-

You have 1 year of sales experience

You are looking for a career-track professional environment with great benefits in which to excel learn and grow

You have an interest in learning how to influence others to improve their lives

You have an interest in learning skills in negotiation and persuasion that will help you for the rest of your career

You are passionate about delivering results a self-starter and have a team-oriented mentality

You can build relationships and focus on customer experiences

High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Virtual (Work from Home) Considerations :

LendingClub currently offers virtual hybrid in-office and fully in-office options so that you can request to work where you perform your best. We are asking for flexibility going forward as circumstances change and we evaluate transitioning teams back to work in the office. The following are requirements to perform this role virtually (work from home) :

Have a quiet dedicated space (preferably with a door) where you can work uninterrupted at home. This also includes having a dedicated desk and chair for work.

Have high speed internet with low usage during business hours (20MBPS download speed and 5-10 MBPS upload speed)

Be able to connect directly into your modem / router (not via wifi ); ethernet cord provided

Be comfortable trouble shooting technical issues without in-person IT support

MUST live and work within 75 miles of the LendingClub office hiring this role .

While working it is expected that you are not the primary caregiver to any pets children or elderly .

Working Conditions

Required to be on the phones work on a computer and at a desk for extended periods of time including viewing a screen using a mouse manipulating a keyboard and wearing a headset. Must be able to function effectively in a dynamic fast-paced call center environment where natural and regular work stressors can occur.
