The role you'll contribute :

Provides specialized cardiovascular care, while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort. Performs / reviews a baseline patient assessment and evaluates patient response to diagnostic cardiac procedures. Proficient in the operation and maintenance, as specified by the manufacturer, of all diagnostic and therapeutic equipment used for procedures in the specific area of operation.

The value you'll bring to the team :

Performs accurate and thorough echocardiograms as ordered by physician.

Performs specialized testing using computer assisted devices including, but not limited to TEE, Stress Echo, Pharmacological Stress Echos.

Cross trained to perform EKGs, Treadmills, and Holter monitors as needed.

Maintains and reviews equipment, ensuring proper function and calibration of machines.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

High School Diploma or GED

Two years of experience in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association

Currently registered as American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or via CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
