Uplight is creating a new category of energy. We make software that manages energy resources in homes and businessesincluding things like smart thermostats, electric vehicles, solar panels, storage batteries, heat pumps, and even people's behaviorto generate, shift, or save energy to balance the grid, making it more efficient and reliable. This creates clean energy capacity that can be used by the power grid instead of burning more fossil fuels. Our solutions accelerate the transition to clean energy and save money for energy customers.

We are seeking a Product Lead / Senior PM to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet. This person will lead our product innovation in bringing a strong, cohesive, intuitive experience for Residential & Business customer end users enrolling in climate-positive energy programs like demand response (DR), time-varying rates (TVR), and energy efficiency initiatives (EE). This influential role sits at the intersection of supporting end customers, program managers, grid operators, and our internal admin teams, to drive maximum impact on grid flexibility.

What you get to do :

• Develop and articulate a clear product strategy for our tools and products that drive enrollment into grid-positive programs
• Collaborate closely with engineering and design to shape strategy & roadmap, prioritize the most valuable problems to solve, and launch MVPs to quickly validate hypotheses in that strategy
• Lead iterative product & design thinking to continuously measure, learn, and enhance user experience in our enrollment & participation products
• Build a deep and data-driven understanding of customer needs, pain points, and real-life behaviors across programs.
• Drive user research with clients at every stage of product development
• Define, monitor, measure, analyze, and report on key metrics for your products
• Partner closely with Designer, Engineers, fellow PMs & User Researchers, Marketers, Account Managers and more across the business to align on core user problems (or JTBD) and uncover shared opportunities together.
• Champion a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and iteration.

Salary Range : $150,000-$170,000 + Bonus
