FT Caregiver (Weekend) - Bellara Senior Living - Hayward, CA

• Key Responsibilities :
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, encouraging client engagement and social interaction.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior, reporting concerns to medical professionals as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises, ensuring clients' comfort and safety.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated and personalized care plan.
• Qualifications :
• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage varying levels of activity and adapt to the specific needs of each client.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for certain positions.
