Hourly Rate : $25.00 -$28.00 (Commensurate with Experience).
Duties / Responsibilities
- Manages the Document Control process, including releasing controlled documents and maintaining the Master Documents and Records List.
- Reviews controlled documents (e.g., work instructions, standard operating procedures, forms) to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
- Revises and creates documents as needed to reflect current practices within the quality system.
- Performs internal audits across departments to assess compliance with procedures and standards.
- Writes audit reports, presents findings to department managers, and tracks corrective actions through resolution.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement through audit findings and quality complaint investigations, with emphasis on training gaps.
- Collaborates with the Training Department and Production Managers to formalize and enhance the quality training program for production employees.
Required Skills / Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.Bilingual in Vietnamese or Spanish is a plus.Education and Experience
Associate's degree required (e.g., Quality, Business, or related field).Two years of experience in document control, quality systems, or internal auditing in a manufacturing or regulated environment preferred.Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.Occasional time spent on the production floor to support audits or training initiatives.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
