About The Position
Job Title : Client-Fetal Medicine Sonographer
Profession : Ultrasound Tech
Specialty : Ultrasound - Women's Health
Duration : Full-time
Shift : 8 Hour Days
Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of two (2) years in high-risk ultrasound preferred
License : Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Client RDMS
Must-Have :
- High-risk maternal-fetal medicine experience
- Proficiency in MFM Ultrasound Technician III required competencies
Description :
This role involves conducting diagnostic imaging studies in all trimesters of pregnancy.
Key responsibilities include first trimester dating and early anatomic assessments.
Detailed second and third trimester anatomic assessments will also be performed.
Fetal echocardiography, growth assessments, Doppler studies, and transvaginal ultrasound are required tasks.
Work will be conducted directly and exclusively with perinatologists.
The position requires adherence to protocols established by accredited organizations in the field.
Equipment checks and reporting necessary repairs are essential duties.
Participating in quality assurance and compliance with regulations is expected.
Evaluating patient history and symptoms to communicate effectively is essential.
Clear communication with patients and their families regarding procedures is required.
Conducting exams with a focus on different age groups is vital.
Assisting the physician with additional imaging or biopsy procedures is part of the role.
Proficiency in all required competencies for the MFM Ultrasound Technician III is necessary.
Technical skill and knowledge must be applied to perform procedures accurately and timely.
Timely completion of exam charges and image documentation is expected.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
