EMI Services is looking to hire a Warehouse Specialist who will be responsible for a wide range of warehousing tasks that require a comprehensive understanding of the company's storage plan. The role involves various activities such as cross-checking materials or merchandise with receiving documents, promptly reporting any discrepancies or evident damages, directing materials to designated storage areas, following specific storage methods to stack, store, or palletize materials, rearranging and conducting inventory of stored items, inspecting stored materials and promptly reporting any signs of deterioration or damage, as well as retrieving materials from storage and preparing them for shipment.
Salary
18.84 / hr. plus $4.93 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!

Key Responsibilities
Conduct physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying lossesDeliver a variety of items (e.g. boxes, packages, cargo, office supplies, furniture, equipment, etc.) for the purpose of distributing items to assigned locations and / or individualsDirecting work flow for the purpose of maintaining an efficient warehouseDrive vehicles (e.g. truck, forklift, etc.) for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sitesProcess incoming materials to include unloading of trucks, matching shipping documents to purchase orders and placing materials in the proper location in the warehousePrepares reports and maintains manual and electronic documents, files and records (e.g. purchase orders, receipts, electronic delivery logs, MSDS, supplies needed by department, inventory, warehouse reports, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activitiesResearch discrepancies on orders and / or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) for the purpose of correcting errors and / or returning damaged / incorrect items to vendorsRespond to inquiries of staff and vendors for the purpose of providing information and / or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc.Perform other related duties, as assigned.Essential Skills

High school diploma or equivalent1 year related experience in performing material storage and verifying materials received against orders or related experienceForklift Operator's CertificateWill be required to complete 40-hour HAZWOPER trainingValid driver’s license compliant with REAL ID Act or are you willing and able to obtain onePass a pre-employment drug screening and background checkRegular, dependable attendanceU.
