Job Summary :

As an Occupational Therapy Professional, you will evaluate and treat patients with various physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial deficits. Your expertise will play a crucial role in promoting independence and improving the quality of life for individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess patients’ ability to perform independent living skills and design tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment plans and document patient progress, making modifications as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on challenges and provide guidance on adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Oversee care provided by designated individuals according to established standards and regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and alert working environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    • Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field required for licensure.
  • No prior experience required; we welcome new graduates!

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to stand constantly and lift / carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently.
  • Effective communication skills, both in hearing and speech.
  • Regular physical activities including walking, reaching, and keyboard use.
  • Occasional lifting / moving patients and using vision for spatial judgment.

    • Licensure and Certifications :

    Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification is required within 90 days of employment. State-specific occupational therapy licensure is mandatory based on your work location.
