Ascend Staffing is hiring experienced Food Servers and Dietary Aides for a senior living retirement community located on Tabor St. in Wheatridge, CO. 80033. The location can be reached by RTD and there is onsite parking.

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY :

Out client is looking for Dining Room Servers to enhance the culinary experience of our residents. As a Dining Room Server, you will serve our residents in a formal restaurant setting using established rules of etiquette. Successful candidates will work in a non-tipping environment, perfect for those seeking steady hours and income. Ideal candidates will be passionate about providing superior customer service, will excel at building relationships, and have a professional and outgoing personality. Your ability to work weekends and holidays is essential in this role.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & SKILLS :

Talent, passion, and desire for interacting with a wide variety of people (residents, resident families, etc.)

Demonstrated experience working in a customer focused role Basic ability to read, write, understand, speak and follow direction in the English language

Ability to communicate openly, honestly and responsibly with others

Ability to maintain a customer focus treating all customers with respect and integrity

Ability to accept responsibility for agreements made and follow through as appropriate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & SKILLS :

Demonstrated experience working in the hospitality or restaurant industry preferred Previous experience with a POS (Point of Sale) system

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS :

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods

Ability to push / pull objects and lift / carry between 20-50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis (pending location or requested job duties)

Willingness to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends as well as holidays, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary

Our communities provide assisted living, assisted living memory care, and skilled nursing (pending location)

White long sleeve button down shirt

Long Black tie

Black dress pants / slacks

Black non-slip shoes

Hair neat and tidy

No nail polish

No artificial nails

No jewelry outside of a wedding ring
