Traffic Signal Lighting Foreman

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient organization of crews
• Must be able to lead a crew for installation and wiring of traffic signals and light poles
• Facilitate training and coaching to ensure a high standard of excellence
• Recognize and address issues / problems that may arise among crew members and provide effective resolution
• Accountable for following project plans / schedules, ensuring that crews perform activities to meet production goals
• Identify needs and deficiencies in the schedule and communicate these to the appropriate individuals
• Identify, verify, and report any scheduling conflicts with other crews and subcontractors to the appropriate individuals
• Responsible and accountable for the safety of the crews under his / her direction
• Know, understand, and communicate safety policies & procedures to ensure compliance in all areas of safety
• Ensure timely responses, actions, and corrections to any safety issue
