The Registered Nurse, Critical Care - ICU, provides direct care for acutely / critically ill patients who are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems, reglardless of the setting for nursing care.
The RN, Critical Care - ICU, has duties that include, but are no limited to the following :
