Care Coordinator

A company is looking for a Care Coordinator Auth Scheduling Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Completes patient referrals and coordinates with practices and departments

Obtains necessary authorizations and directs patients to appropriate providers

Schedules surgical procedures and follows up on referrals to prevent care gaps

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma or GED required

Computer experience required

Understanding of insurance coverage and medical necessity policies preferred

Knowledge of medical records software preferred

Customer service experience required
