We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Contracts within our Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven person to lead contract strategy and execution within the Space, Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (SISR) Sub strategic Business Unit (SSBU) and Intelligence, Engineering and Operations (IEO) mission area.

This position is well suited for a highly motivated, well-organized person who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Your responsibilities will include developing creative approaches to solving problems, while employing strong change management and communication skills, and developing personnel talent.

What You Will Do

• Contracts lead for the development of proposals, negotiations, contractual agreements, contract execution, and day to day administration
• Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies
• Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope
• Develop and enhance positive customer relationships for working contractual matters to resolution
• Effectively communicate with senior leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization
• Leverage excellent relationships with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions to drive closure on complex contractual issues and achieve business results

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
