Salary : $165,000 - $230,000 per year

We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Tax Manager / Director. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing strategic tax planning and compliance expertise to our diverse client base. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about leveraging their knowledge and skills to drive the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Senior Tax Manager / Director, your primary responsibilities will include :

1. Leading and managing multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for our clients.

2. Developing and executing innovative tax planning and strategies that minimize clients' tax liabilities.

3. Ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns at the federal, state, multi-state, and international levels.

4. Conducting detailed reviews of income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.

5. Providing expert advice on tax implications of business decisions and acquisitions.

6. Staying updated with current tax practices and changes in tax law.

7. Building and maintaining client relationships and managing potential risks.

8. Collaborating with other team members to provide comprehensive tax solutions.

9. Training, mentoring, and supervising junior staff members.

10. Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Permanent Senior Tax Manager / Director, candidates must meet the following qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification such as CPA, MST, or JD is highly preferred.

2. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience.

3. Proven expertise in federal, state, multi-state, and international tax compliance and planning.

4. Exceptional knowledge of ASC 740 and experience with tax provision preparation and review.

5. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing a team and client engagements.

6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

7. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

8. Proficiency in tax software and technology.

9. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

10. Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
