What You'll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites. Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education. Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams. Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service. Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations within the manufacturing and industrial environment in a calm, problem-solving manner. Perform regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Support emergency response activities as directed and assist with incident documentation when required. Observe and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or potential hazards encountered during patrols. Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide a sense of security-related reassurance.

What We're Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts. Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments. A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company. Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
