Procurement Specialist

Key Role :

Researches and negotiates major organizational contracts and procurements. Applies advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications :

5+ years of experience with procurement in defense contracting

Experience creating and evaluating requirements for hardware and sof tware procurements in support of DoD government contracts, including FAR and DFARS flow-downs, spe cia l requirements, and performance work statements

Experience creating, evaluating and negotiating terms and c ond itions to identify and mitigate risk based on purchase order award type, commodity, and anticipated award value

Experience creating and evaluating statements of work or bills of materials for completeness

Experience creating evaluating source justifications to ensure compliance with the procurement award type

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications :

Experience creating and evaluating sof tware license agreements to ensure conformance with federal regulations, including End User License Agreements, GSAM, or GSAR

Experience providing instruction about contract requirements and procurement processes

Experience with Micro sof t Office Word and Excel​

Ability to multitask and prioritize based on the demand of requirements or workload

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Possession of excellent organizational, and problem-solving skills

Clearance :

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
