Our Security Installation Specialists  play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our Smart Buildings. This involves ensuring the installation, programming, start-up, and commissioning of state-of-the-art integrated security systems (IP cameras / CCTV, alarm sensors, access control devices, and software platforms) are handled timely and accurately. This position supports our Solutions team, which handles new construction and retrofit projects in commercial buildings such as hospitals, universities, data centers, and industrial facilities. In addition to the primary responsibilities, this position acts as a mentor, providing on-the-job training to less experienced Specialists, fostering a culture of growth and knowledge-sharing within our team.  Why is this position so important? Our Security Installation Specialists are the face of Siemens,and your expertise and regular interaction with the customer will help keep their buildings and inhabitants safe.

This position can be located anywhere in the Greater Boston, MA area.

This position can be a mid-level or senior-level position, depending on experience.

As a Senior Security Installation Specialist, you will :

• Participate in Operational Testing, Verification, and Acceptance :
• Run routine reports to review system operation
• Participate in final inspection and testing
• Support customer acceptance
• Assist with customer training on system operations
• Complete and submit routine written reports
• Identify code and non-conformance issues and make recommendations for system installation
• Conduct Project Site Communication and Coordination :
• May support others in the scheduling of trade contractors to coordinate start-up services as needed
