An AmLaw 100 firm with a strong and growing presence in the Pittsburgh market is seeking an experienced Legal Practice Assistant to provide high-level administrative and litigation support to our attorneys. Position Overview :

The Legal Practice Assistant will support attorneys in managing complex litigation matters by handling document preparation, scheduling, filings, and client communications. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and well-versed in federal and state litigation procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and correspondence to ensure efficient workflow.
• Prepare, edit, proofread, and redline a wide range of legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• File legal documents electronically in compliance with Federal and Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure .
• Coordinate hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
• Maintain and organize client and case files (both digital and physical).
• Assist with time entry, billing review, and expense reporting.
• Handle travel arrangements and other administrative support tasks as needed.
• Support new matter setup, including conflict checks and client engagement documentation.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
