Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a contract with a client in Seattle, WA(Remote). Responsibilities include customizing and delivering Energy Management Systems for electric utilities, and performing system integration, debugging, and software tuning across Linux and Windows environments.

Rate Range : $49 / hour to 53 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include :

• Develop and customize advanced Power Systems Application software, specifically for Energy Management Systems (EMS) like GE's AEMS Reliance.
• Collaborate with Electric Utilities, ISOs, and TSOs to gather functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, code, test, and integrate software modules using languages such as C and Java, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Perform system configuration, debugging, and tuning across Linux and Windows platforms, including real-time mission-critical environments.
• Install and maintain third-party software and OS patches, including Oracle and NetApp, ensuring system stability and compliance.
• Utilize version control tools like GitHub and ClearCase and troubleshoot issues using logs and debug files to support live customer systems.

Pay Details : $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
