WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Intern - Treasury in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2026 with the potential to work part-time during the academic year. The hourly rate for this internship is $20.30 with paid company holidays. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote / on-site) with time spent in the Milwaukee office.

Job Summary

We employ students for summer and year-round opportunities to help design creative cost effective systems and equipment that keep the energy flowing to our customers in a safe and reliable manner. WEC Energy Group offers a variety of finance opportunities for students seeking hands-on experience that are currently enrolled in a four-year degree program. Students work with experienced members of these functional teams.

As a finance intern you will have the opportunity to shadow and work on tasks related to accounting, forecasting and strategy.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in SAP cash clearing (FEBAN)
• Gain understanding of account reconciliations
• Troubleshoot issues between SAP and the banks
• Participate in letter of credit and risk analysis
• The intern will learn SAP general ledger and Treasury Module, OpenC customer service billing system, how credit facilities work and how to analyze credit risk of counter parties
• Financing support the long-term debt financing process by preparing offering documents, pro forma financial statements and responding to investor diligence
• Reporting support the preparation of debt-related reporting for SEC filings, regulatory and internal management
