Position Summary Clinical Pharmacist – PRN Location : 10000 W Colonial Dr, Ocoee, FL 34761 Schedule : PRN (as needed) About Scripts Pharmacy : Orlando Health is committed to meeting prescription needs through our convenient and expert Scripts Pharmacy services. We operate multiple retail pharmacies across our hospitals and medical facilities throughout Central Florida. Position Overview : The Clinical Pharmacist performs essential pharmacist duties required by the assigned area, in alignment with scientific principles and Orlando Health policies and procedures. Responsibilities Essential Functions Demonstrates understanding of safety, emergency, and risk management procedures. Understands and supports the hospital’s mission, personnel policies, philosophy, and the goals and objectives of both Pharmacy and Orlando Health. Exhibits familiarity with the general duties and responsibilities of the Pharmacy department. Identifies and utilizes appropriate resource personnel and departments to support customer service and patient care. Operates pharmacy-related equipment in accordance with operating instructions, safety regulations, and organizational policies. Dispenses medications and intravenous fluids using the medication dispensing system, following scientific principles and Orlando Health policies. Accurately documents activities on appropriate forms and systems, in alignment with defined standards of care, practice guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrates proficiency with various computer systems and applications used within the Pharmacy department and across Orlando Health. Qualifications Education / Training Requirements : Pharmacy degree required (Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD) Licensure / Certification : Must be licensed by the Florida Board of Pharmacy License must be renewed every two years Experience : Hospital experience is preferredEssential Functions Demonstrates understanding of safety, emergency, and risk management procedures.
