Main is hiring for a full-time field, industrial and shipyard / marine, safety supervisor in our Hampton, VA branch. No relocation or per diem available. Position reports to the Safety Manager.

The field safety supervisor's responsibilities include :

• Enforcement of company specific, client specific, and OSHA specific safety policies at the field level
• Conducting tool box safety training and collecting and maintaining documentation of training
• Perform workplace safety inspections at the field level
• Conduct, document, and maintain documentation of incident investigations
• Assist the safety manager with new hire orientation
• Maintain and document the maintenance of safety equipment
• After being designated a Competent Person, perform CP duties industrial and shipyard / marine
