Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fleet Manager located in Columbus, GA. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for fleet operations, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, managing and coordinating fleet dispatch, and maintaining operational efficiency. The role involves finding loads for drivers, reaching weekly revenue goals, driver management, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with drivers and other team members to optimize fleet logistics.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT Regulations, Load Boards and Freight Rates
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Experience in Fleet Operations, Fleet Management or Freight Brokerage
• Proven Leadership Skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Prior experience in the trucking or logistics industry, dry van experience preferred
• Sales experience a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-8 years experience
• Salary dependant on experience, plus bonues
• Great potential for leadership opportunity.

Base salary $40,000-$80,000
