Information Management Business Partner II

Role Overview :

The Information Management Business Partner II (IMBP) serves as the primary liaison between business units and the Information Management team, ensuring technology solutions align with strategic objectives. This role partners with leadership to identify opportunities, document requirements, and support solution implementation that enhances business value.

Key Responsibilities :

Act as a strategic business partner to assigned units, identifying gaps and opportunities.

Develop and present business cases, feasibility studies, and system recommendations.

Collaborate on annual budget planning for technology initiatives.

Serve as liaison between IM, Health Informatics, and business stakeholders.

Support project intake, solution roadmaps, and new technology introductions.

Anticipate system overlaps / gaps and advise on rationalization or improvement.

Conduct field research to identify and prioritize business needs.

Qualifications :

High School Diploma required; higher education preferred.

1–3 years of experience as an Information Management Business Partner (healthcare industry preferred).

Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Prior management experience desirable.
