Responsibilities :
Under the direction of the clinical coordinator is accountable for provision of competent patient care based on established standards. Level II Respiratory Therapists, in addition to job duties stated in Respiratory Therapy Therapist ┐ Level I job description, assumes an expanded role which includes but is not limited to the preceptor role, participation on committees, and performing advanced respiratory care procedures.

Responsibilities
The Department of Pediatric Pulmonary is looking to hire a Respiratory Therapist to perform outpatient and some inpatient Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) as well as provide general technical support in respiratory care as well as patient / caregiver education. Proficiency in performing and analyzing pulmonary function testing, oximetry, and capnography as needed. Demonstrates a working knowledge of homecare ventilators, CPAP, Bipap, suction equipment, and apnea monitors. Minimum of one year of respiratory experience preferred. NYS license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Qualifications
New York State license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with current registrations with at least one-year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
