The Department of Neurology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC), a major academic medical center within the Hackensack Meridian Health system, is seeking a full time Neurologist to take on the role as Stroke Neurologist. • The stroke program at JSUMC is a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center (CSC) serving over 800 total stroke patients a year.
• The stroke program is supported by a team of neuro-interventional surgeons, neurocritical care specialists, a 24 / 7 / 365 stroke APN team, and a dedicated neuroscience unit.
• Neurosciences at JSUMC has been recognized among the top hospitals Neurology & Neurosurgery programs in healthgrades, US News and world report, and leapfrog. Neurosciences at JSUMC has 60+ Team Members – Prominent specialties include epilepsy, headache, MS, stroke, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, Movement Disorders and ALS.

Starting Base Salary : $339,616

Geographic Location : Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.

Internal Equity : Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and / or sub-specialty.

Budget and Grant Funding : Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
