Case Manager II : $43,305.60 Annually

Essential duties and responsibilities :
- Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
- Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) provides services to families with children (birth to 3 years) who have developmental delays and disabilities in Potter and Randall County
- ECI offers Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Specialized Skills Training, Service Coordination, Nutrition services, and additional services for auditory impairment and vision impairment
- The Case Manager position will become credentialed as an Early Intervention Specialist / Service Coordinator through training requirements with the Texas Health and Human Service Early Childhood Intervention Program
- Performs service coordination and specialized skills services for assigned caseload
- Assist children and their family to attain outcomes developed through the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), and foster family advocacy for their child through knowledge of accessing community resources
- Works under the general supervision of ECI- Early Intervention Specialist Lead Coordinator
- Completion of work by the Case Manager I-III requires originating new techniques in working with their assigned clients, establishing criteria with other team members as they develop and revise IFSP's
- Decisions are varied but based on well-defined guidelines
- Collaborations with the therapist on the ECI team to meet the needs of the children on caseload
- Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and / or business standards defined in the code are compromised
Required qualifications to be successful in the job :
Bachelor's degree in a field related to human services or early childhood intervention, which includes three hours of semester course credit in early childhood development or early childhood special educationFor Case Manager I, no experience requiredFor Case Manager II, minimum one (1) year of experience in human services case management, or a teacher certification with experience as an Early Childhood-Kindergarten teacherFor Case Manager III, minimum two (2) years of experience in human services case management, or a teacher certification with experience as an Early Childhood-Kindergarten teacherGraduate work in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of experienceForty clock hours of continuing education in early childhood development or early childhood special education completed within five years prior to employment with ECI may substitute for the three-hour semester course credit requirement in early childhood development or early childhood special educationThe content of the coursework or training must relate to the growth, development, and education of the young child and may include courses or training in : child growth and development; child psychology or child and adolescent psychology; children with special needs; or typical language developmentMust have a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under agency vehicle policyMust be 18 years of age or olderPreferred qualifications to be successful in the job :
