Our client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated healthcare professional to fill the role of Director of Telemetry. As the Director, you will play a crucial role in directing and managing the operations and activities of the nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and compliance with industry standards.

Job Summary :

The Director of Telemetry is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, aiming to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals. This leadership position requires effective management of staff, adherence to corporate, hospital, and safety policies, and the provision of high-quality patient care. The Director will act as a liaison between patients, their representatives, physicians, and employees to maintain open communication channels.

Responsibilities :

• Operational Leadership : Direct and manage the daily operations of the Telemetry department to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals established in collaboration with upper management.
• Staff Management : Oversee staff performance, ensuring that departmental responsibilities align with corporate, hospital, and safety policies. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among staff members.
• Patient Care : Act as a liaison with patients, their representatives, physicians, and employees to ensure the provision of high-quality patient care. Strive to enhance patient satisfaction and maintain open communication channels.
• Resource Management : Efficiently operate the department, optimizing the use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs. Manage supplies and equipment, ensuring their availability and proper functionality.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards, corporate policies, and procedures. Uphold regulatory requirements and contribute to the development and implementation of relevant policies.
• Leadership : Assume a leadership role in planning, directing, and managing the department and staff to ensure the continuous delivery of quality services on a 24-hour basis. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to promote a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Pay Range : $100,000 - $145,000 per year
