Life Coach

Hourly Pay Rate :   $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Location :   266 S Left Hand Fork Springville, UT 84663  (Hobble Creek Canyon)

Schedule :

  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday : 7 : 00pm - 7 : 00am
  • Or :
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday :  7 : 00pm - 7 : 00am

Are you enthusiastic and thoughtful in your approach with people? If so, the position of the  Direct Support Professional / Life Coach with Embark at Springville is the perfect position for you!

At Embark at Springville, our Life Coaches are there at the residence with our clients to help guide and mentor them during those difficult moments. The care and focus that is provided helps the clients and their families move toward a healthy and healing home environment by assisting with communication methods, social skills, experiential, and academic progress.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overnight supervision of client emotional and physical safety
  • Provide early intervention ahead of and during emotional and behavioral crises
  • Relaying any pertinent information over to the treatment team
  • Consistent and thorough documentation and reporting
  • Crisis prevention and management
  • Participate in staff bonding and house bonding activities
  • Daily light housekeeping; sweeping, cleaning up / putting things away, dishes, etc.
  • Uphold professional boundaries while building trust and rapport.

    • Qualifications

  • 21+ years of age or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Able to pass criminal investigation background check
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to learn CPR and First-Aid.
  • Comfortable learning to de-escalate agitated students.
  • Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
