Inventory Controller
Location : Durham, North Carolina, United States Employment Type : Full-time
Overview
This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the current inventory levels and product lines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure orders and deliveries are executed timely and accurately.
- Assist in addressing material shortage, backlogs, or other potential schedule interruptions that may impact inventory levels.
- Prepare reports accurately on a weekly basis.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate and expedite material issue / product to the production floor.
- Track effective inventory transaction management (in / out).
- Perform regular inventory audits and analysis.
- Share decision making with supervisors based on material status and order priorities.
- Generate schedules and establish order priorities and inventory availability.
- Follow up with certain important shipments from material receiving, thru production all the way to the shipping dock if needed.
- Perform material RMA to return defective materials back to suppliers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skill / Knowledge Requirements :
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office 365.Must have hands-on experience in SAP.Must have great interpersonal communication skills.Must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment.Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills.Proven ability to function independently and be able to multi-task.Education and Experience
Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Must have at least two (2) to three (3) years of inventory control experience, in a manufacturing environment preferred.Ability to speak Mandarin / Chinese is highly preferred.
