The Instructional Designer is responsible for building and maintaining all training material for IT and Epic applications including training environment(s). He / she provides expertise in areas of application responsibility and works closely with subject matter experts on designing training requirements that are built into the IT and / or Epic system(s) and building training plans that match end user workflows.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Education : Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, clinical field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Training & Experience : 5 years general computer experience, plus a combination of the following : 2 plus years of General Computer experience is required; 2 plus years of Healthcare experience is preferred; PC and Printer knowledge and experience is preferred. Call Management System, MS Visio, MS Project experience is preferred. Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office suite of applications. Demonstrated experience in one or more core Epic applications. Experience in applications for training documentation authoring and creation is highly preferred.
