JOB DUTIES

As our  System Architect, R&D , you will capture and lead the overall technical architecture of products, components, or solutions, in alignment with the long-term product strategy. You will also provide system architectural leadership in various product domains. System architecture activities will focus on electrical hardware, electronics, software, digital solutions and cybersecurity. Projects will span several teams and include significant technical complexity. Understanding and expertise in system design, development, and requirements will be paramount in this role with a need for strong understanding of electrical hardware, electronics, software, digital solutions, and cybersecurity.

Must bring 5+ years of progressive and successful experience in contributing to System Level Design / Engineering / Architecture.

Other Hiring Requirements

Electrical and Digital understanding – Understanding of electrical systems and the interactions of hardware and software components. Ability to work with digital products with understanding of networking, communication, cloud services, APIs, cybersecurity, and more.

Technical Expertise – Strong understanding of electrical and software driven systems such as control, embedded, and digital systems.

Communication and Collaboration – Strong ability to work with others across different time zones, locations, and fields. Ability to communicate effectively and within team and to stakeholders. Able to match material to audience.

Requirements development – Translating high-level product requirements into detailed technical specifications for various stakeholders

System thinking – capability to understand complex systems, their dynamics and interactions.

Product lifecycle management – capability to see beyond the next release / product and optimize architecture for lifetime.

Annual Base Pay Range :

The hiring range for this role is $121,800– $167,530. The compensation package offered will depend on their ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.

Variable Compensation

KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (60 / 40) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals
