UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination / treatment by complying with established policies and procedures.Organizes and documents all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with physicians, nursing personnel, and other departments to ensure the accurate and timely performance of nuclear medicine procedures.Participates in performance improvement activities by following established standards.Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development by participating in educational activities to promote continuous improvement and compliance with patient care standards. Responsible for maintaining required continuing education.Performs required daily tasks to keep the hospital compliant with Texas Department of State Health Services Radioactive Materials License requirements.Will be familiar with work flow and equipment at all of the sites covered.Qualifications
