This position is contingent upon successful contract proposal submission and award.

We are seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to join our team as a Data Scientist .

Responsibilities include, but not limited to :

  • Administer the Naval Ship Tracking, Reporting, and Analysis Tool (NSTRAT) system, including monitoring application performance and troubleshooting issues affecting availability
  • Perform software engineering and testing to develop data analysis tools and event reconstruction capabilities
  • Conduct database entry and management while ensuring monitoring of automated backups
  • Execute database query analysis to support data-driven decision-making and reporting

Requirements : Qualifications :

  • Security+ Certification
  • Five (5) years of Navy experience managing Navy computer networks
  • Three (3) years of experience using Python and other programming tools to develop data analysis products
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python and SQL Server relational databases
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain FLANKSPEED IL6 Azure Privileged Access

    • Desired Qualifications :

  • Experience with database design, optimization, and advanced query development
  • Familiarity with large-scale data analytics, data visualization, and statistical modeling
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

    • Clearance :

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
