Interested candidates should apply to be considered. Essential Functions These are the job duties required of the position. Essential Functions

• Cleans University Housing areas by performing general cleaning duties to include sweeping, mopping, waxing, and vacuuming floors.
• Cleans appliances and dehumidifiers.
• Dusts furniture.
• Performs general cleaning duties, including scrubbing and cleaning restroom areas, commodes, and urinals, applies deodorizers and germicides, refills soap dispensers, toilet tissues, and paper towel holders.
• Disposes of waste paper.
• Washes windows and replaces supplies.
• Attains hospital sanitary standards as required.
• Dusts and cleans offices where care must be taken that certain papers and materials are not destroyed.
• Operates small furnaces and air conditioning units.
• Cleans furnace rooms.
• Replaces light bulbs.
• Makes simple repairs to buildings and cleaning equipment.
• Reports damages to structures and equipment that require repairs.
• Checks linen in and out.
• Moves furniture and equipment.
• Delivers supplies, and runs errands.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
• Related duties as required.
