Strategy & Operations Automation Manager
As a Strategy & Operations Automation Manager at Fanatics Betting & Gaming, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional projects aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness across Customer Operations. As a member of the Customer Operations Team, you will play an integral role in the wider Fanatics Betting & Gaming ecosystem. The ideal candidate is an experienced strategy and operations manager who is a natural problem solver and has a strong bias towards identifying operational challenges and driving efficiencies. They will bring thoughtful, creative, and effective ideas and solutions to a rapidly growing organization contributing at a hands-on level, owning multiple projects and workstreams at once. They have a proven track record of digging in and defining what needs to be done while deftly managing and owning a variety of stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and deliver cross-functional strategic projects focused on improving operational processes, both internally and externally.
- Leverage data, analysis, and AI / GenAI tooling and processes to identify problems and develop clear solutions
- Autonomously ensure successful execution of key short and long-term projects, while continually finding opportunities for ongoing program improvements and enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with the Payment & Fraud, Chatbot, Finance, Product, Online Sportsbook, Commercial, Marketing, Trading, VIP, Retail, Engineering, and iCasino functions.
- Understand customer contact drivers and obsess about ensuring these are met, championing the end-to-end customer experience.
- Work cross-functionally across the Fanatics ecosystem to leverage and utilize strategic assets into the Sportsbook and iCasino product.
- Effectively manage multiple projects with clear and consistent communication.
- Intimately understand the sporting calendar and the ability to identify areas of opportunity
Skills and Qualifications :
3 - 5 years experience in a Consulting, Strategy, or Finance / Investment Banking functionStrong numerical proficiency and analytical capability (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) and willing to dive into dataExperience with AI and GenAI tooling and how it can drive operational efficienciesAn ambitious multitasker, who can move quickly and efficientlyA passion for Sports and an inherent understanding of what Sports fans want in order to be entertainedExcellent communication skills, experienced at presenting to senior and executive leadershipEmpathetic team player, accomplished at working effectively cross-functionallyCurious and fast learner willing to dive into sports betting and become proficient in consumer / industry insights and functionalityPassion to work in an entrepreneurial, hyper growth environment where decisions are made quicklyOpen to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetingsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or Engineering
