Oil & Gas Energy Lawyer (Remote)

We are currently seeking Energy Lawyers specializing in Oil & Gas to work with our global clients in the energy industry. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in oil and gas law, with expertise in providing legal advice and support on a wide range of energy-related matters.

Responsibilities :

Advise clients on regulatory compliance matters related to oil and gas exploration, production, and transportation, including environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and land use issues.

Draft and negotiate a variety of oil and gas agreements, including leases, joint operating agreements, purchase and sale agreements, processing agreements and pipeline contracts.

Ensure compliance with federal, state and local government laws and regulations.

Qualifications :

• Active bar license in the state in which you reside.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on oil and gas law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department setting.

Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state laws and regulations governing the oil and gas industry, including the Mineral Leasing Act, Clean Air Act, and Natural Gas Act.

Preferred Qualifications (not required but considered advantageous) :

Experience advising clients on upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas transactions and projects.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively advise clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation, Benefits & Location :

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $155,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
