IT Systems Manager- Flexible Packaging Manufacturing

Location : Tucson, AZ

Position Overview :

We are seeking a strategic and innovative IT Systems Manager to lead our technological initiatives in the flexible packaging manufacturing industry. This role will oversee the management of our software and hardware environment. This includes assisting IT operations to meet customer requirements, support and maintenance of existing applications and the development of new technical solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in IT management, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and a commitment to advancing our technological capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Hardware & Software Management : Manage the organization's ERP, database and other software as well as our hardware infrastructure. Ensuring reliability, security, and performance. Oversee and manage vendors.
  • Programming Oversight : Lead software development projects, managing programming teams to create, enhance, and document applications relevant to manufacturing processes.
  • AI Implementation : Explore and implement artificial intelligence solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and data analysis. Stay current with emerging AI technologies relevant to our industry.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align IT strategy with business objectives and drive technology initiatives.
  • Proficiency with SQL database
  • Data Analysis : Create custom reports adding features to ERP system

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in IT management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in flexible packaging or similar industries.
  • Experience in ERP / SAP systems, database management, and programming languages.
  • Preferred experience with AI technologies and their application in manufacturing processes.
