Electro-Mechanical Assembler - NW Houston
We're looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our fast-paced Production Team in Northwest Houston. This is a temp-to-hire position that provides the opportunity to contribute to developing new and existing products within highly visible product lines.

Pay : $20 - $22 / hr
Shift : 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm

Job Summary
As an essential member of our team, you'll assemble cables, sub-assemblies, and mechanical, electronic, and computer systems. This is a hands-on, challenging role where you will also be responsible for performing rework and repair on manufactured equipment and products.
Responsibilities
Assemble and wire electrical assemblies, such as control panels and small sub-assemblies, following provided procedures and drawings.
Lay out and assemble electrical wiring harnesses and electronic components.
Follow complex wiring diagrams, schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work orders to accurately assemble equipment.
Drill and tap holes in specified locations to mount components using hand and power tools.
Rework and repair assembled equipment and products based on engineering changes.
Document test results using good documentation practices for various business needs.
Identify product defects and complete the necessary documentation.
Elevate safety, quality, and manufacturing issues to your supervisor in a timely manner.
Actively provide ideas and feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Education : A 2-year technical degree (electrical or mechanical background preferred) or equivalent experience. A bachelor's degree is a plus.
Skills :
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment and manage multiple projects at once.
An agile learner who is comfortable working on electro-mechanical automated test equipment.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
Must be on time and available for overtime as needed.
