Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Metallurgical and Failure Analysis Department Manager whose primary responsibility is to Lead and Manage Metallurgical Department running day to day operations .

Salary : $100,000 - $140,000 DOE

Responsibilities

Ensure work compliance to ISO 17025 requirements

• Perform metallurgical failure analysis on failed metallic (ferrous and non-ferrous) components, generating failure investigation reports with technical findings
• Carry out the mechanical tests for material properties evaluation and weld procedure specification qualification as per various international standards (ASME, API, AWS and BS)
• Previous direct Management Responsibilities are required
• Previous Engineering Team Management is encouraged
