Project Engineer – Data Center Construction

Location :  Upper Midwest

Project Overview

This multi-phase data center project includes several 1-million-square-foot buildings, each supporting 150 MW of infrastructure. The scope involves :

• Deep foundations and insulated precast systems
• Site work, including roads, utilities, and laydown areas
• Coordination with excavation and MEP contractors
• Rapid design development and evolving construction documentation
• Use of Procore and Primavera P6 for project tracking

Role Overview

Support field and office operations on a large-scale data center build. Ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive individual looking to grow in a high-performance construction environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with RFIs, submittals, and document control

Track material deliveries and coordinate with vendors

Support scheduling and progress tracking

Help manage site logistics and winterization efforts

Communicate with field teams and resolve issues promptly

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in construction engineering or management

Strong technical and organizational skills

Familiarity with construction documentation and software tools

Willingness to work on remote sites and adapt to changing plans

Ability to work extended hours during peak construction phases

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00 / yr.
