We are looking for a dedicated and driven Dean to join our growing academic / practice partnership team.
Please Note : This position is located in Fresno, CA.
You will be responsible to Lead day-to-day operations at a Workforce Development site. You’ll guide faculty, champion students, and keep our program compliant, coordinated, and clinically excellent.
- Supervise program operations, faculty, and staff.
- Oversee policies, handbooks, supplies / equipment, and on-site records.
- Step in for clinical, skills lab, or sim lab coverage when needed.
Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate & approve clinical sites for safety and learning objectives.Manage BRN approval forms.Coordinate placements : student counts, faculty assignments, schedules, and objectives.Meet monthly with Clinical Partner.Serve as primary HR contact for concurrent student / employee issues.Ensure timely student and site evaluations; maintain contracts and inter-agency minutes.Faculty Responsibilities
Teach as part of the faculty team and support blended-learning implementation.Plan & assess instructional initiatives.Promote adult-learning principles and innovative teaching.Finalize clinical rotation matrices / calendars at least one month in advance.Ensure faculty follow clinical policies and document student outcomes on time.Review learning materials & contribute updates at curriculum meetings.Attend / lead faculty meetings.Student Success
Lead skills-lab and clinical orientation with faculty and partners.Support admissions; advise students and run weekly At-Risk meetings.Verify graduation and licensing requirements in collaboration with leadership.Participate in NCLEX success meetings.Compliance & Administration
Maintain Board / accreditor compliancePrepare reports, proposals, self-studies, surveys, and site-visit materials.Collaborate with HR on faculty / staff documentation; serve on program committees.Identify external resources to advance program goals.Other duties as assigned
Salary Range : $130k-$150k
Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, and budget.Qualifications
Current valid and clear California Registered Nursing License (for locations located in CA); or Registered Nursing License from state in which WFD site is located;A master’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university that includes course work in nursing, education, or administration;A minimum of one year teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs (associate, baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral);One year’s continuous experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care and / or equivalent experience as determined by the Board of Nursing;Demonstrated leadership skills;Excellent oral and written communication skills;Committed to diversity, as defined by the California law;Ability to work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders;Leadership style that emphasizes collaboration, teamwork, and facilitation;Demonstrate proficiency with technology (MS Teams, Zoom, Learning Management Systems;Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams;Experience in supervision, planning, budget preparation in program maintenance.Additional Information
