We are currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our Central Pharmacy team. Position Details

Title : Clinical Pharmacist

Location : Corpus Christi, TX - Main Hospital, Satellite and Acute Care

Shift

Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 30pm

Experienced pharmacists and new graduates are encouraged to apply! Upcoming or recent graduates may interview for our roles prior to completing and passing their exam. Licensure is required to begin orientation.

As a Clinical Pharmacist at Driscoll Children's Hospital, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe, effective, and timely delivery of medications to pediatric patients. You'll oversee and verify doses, monitor for allergies or drug interactions, and ensure orders are appropriate based on diagnosis, age, and weight. In collaboration with providers and pharmacy staff, you'll support optimal therapeutic outcomes and recommend cost-effective alternatives when needed.

You'll supervise pharmacy technicians, maintain accurate records for controlled substances, and serve as a liaison to nursing and medical staff. This role also includes providing medication counseling to patients and families, participating in staff training, supporting student preceptorships, and contributing to quality and safety initiatives.

This position is ideal for pharmacists passionate about pediatric care, sterile compounding, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor's degree (BPharm) from an accredited college of pharmacy
• One to three years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Pediatric and / or Hospital experience strongly preferred.
• Texas Pharmacist license
• Texas Preceptor license preferred
