The ERP System Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely entry, revision, and quality control ofparts, assemblies, and production data within the M1 Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system. This rolesupports manufacturing operations by ensuring all documentation, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and production recordsare up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Enter all new parts and assemblies into the M1 MRP system.
Implement revisions of parts and BOMs as required.Update, audit, and maintain action tracking logs to ensure data integrity.Documentation & PrintingPrint drawing packages, including all necessary drawings and paperwork for stock and customparts, using BOMs as a guide.
Create and revise print scripts for new and existing designs.Quality ControlPerform document quality control checks by auditing for discrepancies or errors in BOMs or partnumbers.
Collaborate with Designers to identify and correct discrepancies in drawings, assisting withnecessary corrections.Production SupportFile completed job packages for production use.
Create sales orders and production jobs in the M1 ERP system.Modify or customize production job materials and manufacturing process steps as needed.Safety & ComplianceAdhere to all safety standards and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) whenentering the manufacturing shop floor environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; additional training in information systems, data analytics, or a related field is preferred.12 years of experience in data entry, administrative roles, or ERP-related tasks.Experience with ERP / MRP systems (such as M1, Syteline, SAP, or similar) is highly preferred.Ability to interpret technical drawings and BOMs.Proficient in data entry and document management.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Commitment to safety and quality standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools (e.g., spreadsheets, databases).Fast and accurate typing skills.Strong attention
