Accounting Specialist

Visible local non-profit organization is seeking support of an Accounting Specialist to assist with department reconciliations.

Salary Range : $50,000- $55,000

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST :

  • The Accounting Specialist will focus on reconciling and posting changes :
  • Reconcile credit card and bank statements
  • Reconcile payroll entries and other journal entries for accuracy
  • Identify issues and correct account posting, as needed
  • The Accounting Specialist will assist with posting journal entries and other accounting projects

    • EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST :

  • Accounting Specialist must have extensive experience with reconciliations
  • General accounting experience sufficient to complete the tasks listed above
  • Intermediate Excel skills - ability to perform Pivot Tables is a plus, not a must
  • Preferred candidate will have a keen eye for detail and disposition to work diligently
