CODEX Engineering Managers (EMs) are accountable to the Engineering Director for hiring and staffing their engineers. The goal of this role is to ensure we are attracting, retaining, growing, and utilizing engineering talent appropriately to meet customer missions. An EM will only be assigned through approval of CODEX Engineering Director via an interview process.

Engineering Manager Roles and Responsibilities

• Accountable for ensuring their engineers are appropriately staffed on their programs with respect to skillsets and career goals
• Accountable for identifying Group Leads (GLs) from engineering population
• Accountable for providing performance feedback to engineers and their managers (GLs)
• Accountable for mentorship of engineers including :

Mentoring leadership / professional behavior
