Job Title : HFM Consultant

Location : Denver, CO

Pay Rate : $58.50 / hour

Employment Type : Temporary – 3-month contract

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HFM Consultant to join our client’s team in the finance sector. The consultant will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting financial consolidation and reporting solutions , streamlining financial close processes, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering insightful reporting to drive business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Design, configure, and deploy applications including metadata, rules, and consolidation logic.
  • Manage system administration tasks such as security, metadata updates, and data load management.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize financial consolidation, reporting, and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare detailed documentation for system design, configurations, and maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct user training and provide technical and functional guidance to finance teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) .
  • Strong understanding of financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and currency translation .
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing .
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, data integration concepts, and system performance tuning .
  • Proficiency in JIRA and experience working in cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills .
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities , with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
