We are seeking a passionate and service-driven Technical Specialist – Hygiene and Supplies to support our growing customer base in the dairy industry surrounding the greater Fresno, CA area. In this role, you'll deliver top-tier technical support and hygiene consultation, helping dairy producers achieve exceptional milk quality for human consumption. You will be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems, while supporting field sales and developing strong relationships with producers across your territory. Key Responsibilities : Deliver on-site and remote support for CIP systems to ensure effective sanitation and milk quality outcomes. Assess sanitation and hygiene challenges and communicate clearly with customers and Dairy Direct Sales Specialists. Maintain detailed records of service calls, wash reports, weekly activity logs, and customer interactions in CRM. Serve as a trusted milk quality advisor—offering technical support, problem-solving strategies, and hygiene consulting. Respond to all customer communication (calls, texts, emails) promptly—within established timeframes. Support inventory management, monthly reconciliation, and assist with audits. Complete and submit required documentation including service request forms, expense reports, and timecards. Collaborate cross-functionally with supervisors, co-workers, and customers to deliver high-quality service. Take initiative in supporting additional duties and special projects as assigned. Your Profile / Qualifications Ideal Candidate Profile : High School Diploma required. 2+ years' experience of working knowledge of dairy operations and CIP systems strongly preferred. Basic mechanical understanding Comfortable with CRM platforms, digital documentation, and technical reporting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills—ability to build trust and credibility with producers. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Self-starter with a customer-first mindset and a collaborative attitude. Must be able to travel locally up to 90% for on-farm support. The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $32.00 - $35.00 per hour.
