Recommended qualifications include a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, a passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE), and active licensure in Florida. One year of clinical experience is suggested, along with strong adaptability, communication, and decision-making skills. The PT Licensure Compact may help you practice in multiple states if you meet its requirements.
